Saharanpur, Bhagat Singh Verma, national president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma and Paschim Pradesh Mukti Morcha, said that Uttar Pradesh is not only the country but the largest state in the world. Therefore, by dividing Uttar Pradesh into four parts, it is necessary to create a separate Western Pradesh by combining 26 districts for the progress and development of eight crore people of Western Uttar Pradesh. The population of Uttar Pradesh is 25 crores. There are 75 districts, 80 Lok Sabha constituencies and 403 assembly constituencies. Being a big state, Uttar Pradesh is in the grip of poverty, inflation, corruption, unemployment and lawlessness. Being a big state, the law and order situation is in disarray and the people of Purvanchal have dominance here. Bhagat Singh Verma said that 26 districts of Western Uttar Pradesh give 80% revenue to the state government, yet education and medicine in Western Uttar Pradesh are nominal. The Chief Minister keeps spending all the money in the development of the capital Lucknow, Purvanchal and Bundelkhand. Western Uttar Pradesh is being grossly neglected. Bhagat Singh Verma said that the day a separate Western State will be formed, education and medicine here will be of international standard and will be free for all, all the educated unemployed will get employment and big industries will be established here. The per capita annual income in Western Pradesh will be the highest in the country. Bhagat Singh Verma said that a State Reorganization Commission should be constituted to create four states in Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha state in Maharashtra and other states in the country. For the creation of a separate western region, farmers, laborers, youth, students, businessmen, shopkeepers, intellectuals and lawyers will have to fight unitedly and make it a big mass movement. Today, a separate western region is the biggest need of the hour. The progress of the country is possible only through the creation of small states. Development will increase rapidly in the small state and the educated unemployed will get employment. And the problems of farmers, laborers and the poor will be solved. While conducting the meeting, State General Secretary Asim Malik said that a separate state is the biggest need of the hour. Despite the struggle of lawyers for four decades, till date the High Court bench has not been established in Western Uttar Pradesh, which is a complete insult to the eight crore people here. Big leaders sitting in Delhi and Lucknow are grossly neglecting Western Pradesh, which will no longer be tolerated at any cost. A big movement will be launched for a separate state under the leadership of National President Bhagat Singh Verma. The meeting was presided over by District Organization Minister Surendra Singh Advocate.
