In view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released the sixth list of its candidates on Tuesday (26 March). Names of three candidates have been announced in this candidate list of BJP. Indu Devi Jatav has been made the candidate from Karauli Dholpur in the BJP candidate list. BJP has given ticket to Kanhaiyalal Meena from Dausa. Whereas BJP has given ticket to Thaunaojam Basant Kumar Singh from Inner Manipur seat of Manipur.

BJP has canceled the ticket of Dr. Manoj Rajouria from Karauli Dholpur and given the ticket to Indu Devi Jatav. Earlier, BJP had released the fifth list of candidates on March 24. In this list of candidates, there were names of candidates from many states including UP-Bihar. The most surprising name in this candidate list was that of actress Kangana Ranaut. BJP has made Kangana its candidate from Mandi seat of Himachal Pradesh.

BJP's candidate list for assembly by-elections also arrived

The Central Election Committee of BJP has also announced candidates for the by-elections to be held on the assembly seats of Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal on March 26. BJP has nominated Bhaskar Sarkar from Bhagwangola assembly seat of West Bengal and Sajal Ghosh from Baranagar. Also, Narasimhanayak has been declared the candidate from Shorapur (reserved) assembly seat of Karnataka. BJP has announced candidates for 5 assembly seats in Gujarat and 6 in Himachal.

Many shocking decisions in the fifth list of BJP candidates

At the same time, cutting the ticket of Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat of UP was also a shocking decision. Jitin Prasad has been made the candidate from Pilibhit seat in place of Varun Gandhi. Apart from this, former Congress leader Naveen Jindal has been fielded from Kurukshetra seat in Haryana. BJP, which is preparing for Lok Sabha elections 2024, has announced candidates for 64 Lok Sabha seats of UP.


After the list of 111 candidates released by BJP on March 24, the party had announced candidates for 402 seats. At the same time, after the list released today, this figure has reached 405.
