Saharanpur, the beautification and Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Phoolwari Ashram, the memorial site of Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh Ji, was held in the presence of city MLA Rajiv Gumbar, Mayor Dr. Ajay Singh, District Magistrate Manish Bansal. City MLA Rajiv Gumbar said that the work of beautification and renovation of Phoolwari Ashram is not being done by any one person in particular. This work is being done under the thinking of the Honorable Prime Minister and Chief Minister that our country should not forget its cultural nationalism. Whether we all live or not, but the memory of the immortal martyrs should remain in the mind of every person. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that he has arranged funds to promote cultural nationalism within this state. He thanked Tourism Department Minister Jaiveer Singh for approving the project and arranging funds. This is a patriotic work to pay homage to our martyrs who gave us the opportunity to breathe in the open air today. MLA Rajiv Gumbar said that Phulwari Ashram is the workplace of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Shaheed Bhagat Singh, along with promoting the freedom movement, gave a message to the country due to which India became independent. He also paid homage to Shaheed Bhagat Singh's mother, father and uncle. His uncle had worked to awaken a spirit in Punjab. Mayor Dr. Ajay Singh said that while paying homage to the members of the freedom fighters, he said that the Panch Pran pledge given by the Prime Minister also includes the respect of those who give their utmost dedication. At the time of independence, many youths sacrificed everything due to which today we are breathing in the air of freedom. He talked about developing the tree located in Loha Bazaar, on which many people were hanged, as a memorial. District Magistrate Manish Bansal said that a scheme has been approved by the Chief Minister for the renovation of the historical heritage of Saharanpur. He said that from ancient history to present history, Phulwari Ashram has an important place along with the development of Saharanpur. This ashram is going to take a new form with the cooperation of public representatives. He said that very soon this project will be constructed with quality. He appealed to all the people around to give their full cooperation in its construction and its maintenance after construction. Under the renovation, the main entrance, admin, digital gallery and cafeteria block, kund style phased meeting, mound, ghat, public sanitation block, tourist shelter, corten steel wall walls, stage for open gathering area, open interpretation area, beautification of tourist complex, open gym and internal paths will be done. On this occasion, Metropolitan President Puneet Tyagi, Shaheed Bhagat Singh's nephew Kiranjit Singh, Rakesh Jain, Jayanath Sharma, KL Arora, Sardar Balbir Singh Dheer, Anoop Khanna, Mukesh Dixit, Anesh Sharma, Gokarandatt Sharma, Sardar Supneet Singh, Shailendra Bhushan, Jaspal Batra, Sarvesh Gupta, members of freedom fighter families were present.
