Saharanpur | Deoband, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Mahashakti) raised various problems of farmers strongly while holding a meeting in the SDM office premises. Also, a memorandum related to the demands was sent to the Chief Minister through SDM.

In the meeting, West State President Priyadeep said that Bajaj Sugar Mill of Ganganoli has not yet made the full payment of last year's sugarcane. Due to which farmers are going through financial crisis. District President Pradeep Kumar said that it is unfortunate to impose a fine on farmers for burning stubble. Tehsil President Arvind Sharma said that the government should take effective steps to stop the underweighing happening at sugarcane purchase centers. After the meeting, the farmers handed over the memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to SDM Deoband Deepak Kumar. During this time, Arvind Tyagi, Balendra Tyagi, Ravindra Tyagi, Dr. Jitendra, Himanshu Gurjar, Malkit Singh, Ishan, Aleem Numberdar, Deepak Tyagi, Mohit Sharma etc. were present.
