Brack number 12A of Meerut's Chaudhary Charan Singh District Jail has become the center of special discussion these days. This is no ordinary barrack, but rather the barrack of women facing serious charges of destroying their closest relationships. These women, who once took responsibility for their families, now live behind bars under the shadow of their decisions and accusations.

After the infamous Atul Panwar murder case in Meerut, this barrack has once again drawn public attention. A total of six women are imprisoned here. Five of them are accused of murdering their husbands, while one woman is in judicial custody for the murder of her seven-year-old son. Families that once held happiness now harbor stories of broken relationships and pain.

The daily routine begins with bhajans and Sunderkand recitations

The atmosphere in barrack 12A is said to be different from other barracks. Every morning, the recitation of the Sunderkand and the sound of bhajans and kirtans echo here. These religious activities are believed to be an attempt to find mental peace and overcome guilt. The jail administration has housed all these women in the same barrack so that they can provide mental support for each other.

Principal Damini, accused of murdering her husband, is also imprisoned in the same barrack. She is reportedly under severe mental stress and does not communicate much with anyone. The jail administration is preparing to provide her with counseling. According to Senior Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma, the purpose of keeping all the women together is to maintain their mental balance and mutual cooperation.

Pain overflows during visits

For these women, every day is spent in introspection and waiting. When family members visit them, the atmosphere becomes emotional. It is said that they often discuss among themselves what happened that changed the course of their lives. A day that begins with morning prayers often ends with regret and tears.

Cases involve allegations of love affairs and conspiracies

The cases filed against these women have also garnered widespread attention. Muskan is accused of conspiring with her lover to murder her husband, Saurabh, and attempting to dispose of the body. Anjali is accused of conspiring with her lover to murder her husband, Rahul. Ravita is accused of murdering her husband, Amit, and attempting to disguise the incident.

Komal is accused of conspiring to murder her husband, Nain Singh, a BSF soldier, and spending a large sum of money to do so. The most sensitive case is that of Gurpreet Kaur, who is accused of having her seven-year-old son murdered due to an affair.

All the accused women are currently facing judicial proceedings. The cases are pending in court, and convictions are pending. However, amidst these allegations, jail barrack number 12A has now become the story of those lives, where the long journey of broken relationships, allegations of crime and regrets are seen together.
