Saharanpur | Deoband, An attempt was made to kidnap the owner of a banquet hall in broad daylight in Deoband city. Baba gang is accused of committing the crime. Angry people created a ruckus. After receiving the complaint, the police started investigating the matter. According to the information received, the owner and former councillor of Royal Palace located near Mangalore police station in Deoband city, Mohammad Akil was sitting in his office. It is alleged that during this time, members of Baba gang reached there and tried to forcibly pick up Akil and put him in the car, on which he created a ruckus. Hearing the noise, a crowd of people gathered there and started creating a ruckus. Seeing themselves surrounded by people, the accused fled. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Victim Mohammad Akil told the police that the accused wanted to forcibly occupy his land. They wanted to forcibly get the land registered in his name. When he refused, the accused started forcibly putting him in the car. Akil told that the accused, son of a land mafia, is an active member of Baba Gang. He has already gone to jail on charges of firing at the police and is out on bail. Former Councilor Mohammad Akil told that after the attempt of kidnapping, he was threatened with death over the phone. Police say that the entire matter is being investigated seriously.
