Saharanpur, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod said that it has been decided to celebrate the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji till 25 December 2025. The decision to celebrate the birth centenary year has been taken with the aim of taking his great personality and thoughts to the people and to inspire the young generation. Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod directed the District Magistrates of the three districts of the division that to celebrate the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the division, all the departments should ensure the organization of programs in accordance with the proposed and prescribed action plan of their respective departments. Divisional Commissioner Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod said that on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January 2025, a seminar and related programmes will be organised on the ideas and policies of Shri Atal Ji related to good governance. On 03 February, Kavi Kumbh dedicated to Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be organised. In this sequence, on 27 March, organizing a seminar on the personality and achievements of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, organizing programs on the contribution of Vajpayee ji in nation building on the occasion of Environment Day on 05 June, organizing a seminar on the subject of National Education Policy-2020 and Indian Knowledge Tradition and other programs and competitions on 29 July, organizing programs on the ideas and policies of Vajpayee ji related to good governance on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August, organizing programs on the occasion on the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 16 August, organizing a program related to the poetry recitation of 51 important poems of Vajpayee ji on 02 October, organizing programs on the achievements of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji's Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan on the occasion of National Education Day on 11 November, organizing programs on Vajpayee ji's contribution to the development of the country on the occasion of Constitution Day on 26 November, ceremonial programs will be organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary/conclusion of the centenary year of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji on 25 December 2025.
