Shakambhari | Saharanpur, After heavy rains in the Shivalik hills, the water level of Siddhpeeth Shakambhari Devi's seasonal river increased and devotees were stopped at Bhuradev. Since morning, devotees were visiting the court of the mother on foot and taking darshan. On receiving information about water coming into the khol from Gorakhnath temple, the police had alerted the devotees by sounding the siren. The water level of Shakambhari khol (river) increased in no time. However, as soon as the alert of water was received, the police stopped all the devotees at Bhuradev. The devotees who had gone to Siddhpeeth were also stopped there. However, the water is gradually decreasing. On the other hand, the road got blocked due to the increase in the water level in the river of Shahpur Gada in Mirzapur area late at night. Crowds of people gathered on both the banks. The villagers are waiting for the water to subside.
