Saharanpur | Shakambhari, After heavy rains on the Shivalik hills, there was a sudden strong flow in the Shakambhari Devi river. The devotees who were going to the temple to see the mother after crossing the river, saved their lives by going to a safe place after seeing the flow of water. The police personnel stopped the devotees at the Bhuradev temple for safety. The devotees who had reached the temple of Mata have been asked to stay at a safe place in Siddhpeeth till the water level subsides. Actually, rain had started on the hills in the morning itself. The rain intensified in the afternoon. After which there was a sudden strong flow in the river. At that time, the devotees going to the temple of Siddhpeeth Maa Shakambhari Devi through the river ran after seeing the water. They took a breath after reaching the river bank. After receiving information about water coming in the river in Siddhpeeth, the police-administration became alert. The policemen posted at the police post at Siddhpeeth were instructed to stop the devotees present there till the water level subsides. On the other hand, the police stopped the devotees going to Siddhpeeth at Baba Bhuradev Temple itself and everyone was advised to leave from there in view of the weather. Some devotees were adamant on going to Siddhpeeth to have darshan of Mata. The police told them that they will not be allowed to proceed further till the water level subsides. There could be a danger to life due to the flow of the river.
