Saharanpur, Following the instructions of District Magistrate Saharanpur Arvind Kumar Chauhan, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Santosh Bahadur Singh chaired a meeting with relevant officials and army officers regarding preparations for the Agniveer recruitment rally in the new auditorium at the Collectorate. Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Santosh Bahadur Singh directed that proper arrangements for overnight accommodation for candidates be made by identifying locations near the stadium, railway station, and bus station. All candidates attending the rally should be provided with the best possible facilities. All departments related to the rally should discharge their assigned responsibilities responsibly. He directed that the cooperation of Civil Defense be sought to further improve the arrangements.

The District Magistrate directed the concerned officials to make proper arrangements for drinking water, sanitation, barricading, uninterrupted power supply, lighting, toilets, ambulances and medical facilities, and fogging. The Transport Department was directed to operate additional buses and the Fire Department to make adequate arrangements at the rally site to deal with any untoward incident. The Indian Army is organizing a rally from August 17th to September 10th as part of the Agniveer recruitment drive in the district. This rally will be held at the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Stadium. Candidates from 13 districts across the state will participate in the rally. Candidates from Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Rampur, Moradabad, Bijnor, Amroha, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Meerut, and Bulandshahr will participate. At the meeting, Army Recruitment Officer Colonel Satyajit Bebale briefed the officials on the arrangements and requirements for the rally. He stated that 26,000 candidates will participate in the recruitment rally, and approximately 1,200 candidates will arrive in the district daily. Present on the occasion were the Superintendent of Police (Rural), Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Kumar, City Magistrate Kuldeep Singh, Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Subodh Kumar, and other officials and Army recruitment officials.
