Saharanpur, Saharanpur district's Qutubsher police station arrested the accused who was absconding for two months in the case of raping a minor and making her drink acid and sent him to jail today. SP City Abhimanyu Manglik said that on April 26, 2024, the accused youth Wasib son Shamim resident of village Chhabra Colony, Mankamou, police station Qutubsher raped a minor girl and threatened to make the video viral. When the victim protested, he made her drink acid. The youth also provoked the girl to commit suicide. The girl was referred to a higher center in critical condition where her life was saved after treatment. On the complaint of the victim's father, the Qutubsher police station had registered a case against the youth under serious sections.
