Saharanpur, 15 sheep of a shepherd died after drinking poisonous water while the condition of four is critical. The victim has appealed to the tehsil administration for financial help. According to the information received, Vikram, son of Mulraj, resident of village Jasmaur, does sheep rearing. He has about 100 sheep. He had taken his sheep to the forest of village Pajraipur to graze. When he reached Fatehpurkala village late last evening, some sheep drank the water collected in the nearby Rajbeh. After this he came home with the sheep. When morning came, he saw that 15 sheep were lying dead and four were writhing badly. He immediately called a private doctor and got the sheep seen. He told that the water that the sheep drank had some poisonous substance mixed in it and they died after drinking it. It is believed that someone might have cleaned the pesticide tank etc. in Rajbaha.
The victim has appealed to the tehsil administration for financial help.
