Saharanpur, This morning, sensation spread when the body of a young woman was found in an empty plot behind Saini Restaurant under Gangoh police station. On receiving the information, SP Rural Sagar Jain, SSP Dr. Vipin Tada reached the spot.

The SSP said that in the initial investigation, it was found that a young man Sagar, a distant relative of the 21-year-old girl Manvi, brought her to Gangoh and he killed her by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. SP Rural Sagar Jain said that police officials inspected the crime scene. Evidence was collected by the forensic team on the spot. Nearby CCTV cameras were examined. The deceased girl was identified as Manvi. The police have prepared the Panchnama of the body and sent the body for post-mortem. SP Rural Sagar Jain further said that a police team led by Police Inspector Gangoh HN Singh is raiding to arrest the accused Sagar. It is expected that the arrest will be made soon. Only after that will the reasons of the murder be known. According to the police officials, Manvi was a resident of the village Bitiya Sandalpur of Police Station Qutubsher in Saharanpur. The deceased girl belonged to the Hindu Gurjar community. Her family members reached Kotwali Gangoh and informed about the incident and demanded the immediate arrest of the murderer. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that the murder of the girl is a very serious matter. The police have taken this murder very seriously. He has given strict instructions for the arrest of the accused.
