Saharanpur | Deoband, Geeta Prachar Samiti Seva Trust Deoband is organizing a musical Shri Ram Katha from 2 December to 10 December at Shri Geeta Bhawan Deoband.

A grand Kalash Shobha Yatra was taken out in Deoband today on this grand event of Shri Ram Katha. The Kalash Yatra was inaugurated at Shri Geeta Bhawan by Mrs. Sudesh Sharma, Shri Ramcharit Manas by Pradeep Singhal, Dharma flag hoisting by Prince Avnish Sharma, Prasad distribution by Mrs. Manju Sharma, wife of Chhatrapal Sharma and at the beginning of the Katha, the lamp was lit by Mrs. Vimla Devi and Thakur ji was garlanded by Mrs. Vijay Sharma. On this occasion, Swami Priyadas ji Maharaj, while reciting the musical Ram Katha from his mouth, said that the coming generation is straying from the path. He asked a child whether he knew about Shri Ram. The child replied that he did not know the Ram whom his grandmother taught him by heart or the Ram who is in our books. Children of today lack education and spirituality. On this occasion, Ajay Bansal, Pankaj Goyal, Sunil Karnawal, Sudhir Garg, Ritesh Bansal Advocate, Sanjay Mittal, Akhil Sharma, Rajkumar Jatav, Sunil Bansal, Smt. Meera Devi, Madhu Sharma, Kanta Tyagi were present. On December 11, the committee will distribute tricycles, crutches, quilts, school jerseys, blankets, etc. to needy families in the Nar Narayan Seva program.
