(Uttar Pradesh) Deoband | Saharanpur, A grand golden chariot procession was organized today on the 2551st Nirvana Mahotsav of the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, Lord Mahavir Swami. The atmosphere was made devotional by the tune of the band players and the melodious bhajans presented by the bhajan group. The golden chariot procession was taken out with great pomp in the city on the first day of the traditional five-day festival by the Jain community and Shri Digambar Jain Panchayat Samiti. The statue of Lord Mahavir Swami seated on the golden chariot was the center of special attraction. Rath Yatra started from Shri Digambar Jain Parshvanath Temple Ji Saragwada and from Shri Parshvanath Digambar Jain Temple Ji Bahara, Shri Digambar Jain Temple Kanungoyan, Shri Ji was seated on a golden chariot and reached Shri Digambar Jain Panchayati Temple Nechalgarh via Hanuman Chowk, Main Bazaar, MBD Chowk. Where on the Pandav Shila built, after the Abhishek and worship of Shri Ji with 1008 urns by Indras, the idol was seated on the altar. Before this, Aarti of Shri Ji seated on the golden chariot was done by State Minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh, Municipal Council Chairman Vipin Garg, City President Arun Gupta and State Minister Brijesh Singh, Municipal Council Chairman Vipin Garg, BJP City President Arun Gupta were welcomed by the Jain community by putting a turban on them and giving them souvenirs. Last night, a play based on Boliyaan and Live and Let Live was organized in Shri Jain Temple Kanungoyan. In which Munish Kumar, Anmol Jain got the privilege of becoming the Khavasi who would sit with the Lord and Arun Kumar, Akash Kumar Jain got the privilege of becoming the charioteer of the chariot. Also, Mahesh Chand Rajneesh Kumar Jain Saraf got the privilege of becoming Kuber on the chariot of the Lord. Siddhant Jain got the privilege of becoming the right Indra and Vinay Jain got the privilege of becoming the left Indra. Sudesh Jain, Praveen Jain, Ajay Jain, Anuj Jain, Ankit Jain, Mukesh Jain, Rishabh Jain, Arpit Jain, Lakshya Jain, Ravindra Jain, Muktak Jain, Amit Jain, Atul Jain, Dhairya Jain, Shashank Jain, Pranshu Jain, Paras Jain, Garv Jain, Harshit Jain, Nitika Shubham, Neha Jain, Sunita Jain, Payal Jain, etc were present in the Golden Rath Yatra.
