Saharanpur, Railway Protection Force recovered 90 lakh 9 thousand 200 rupees from a businessman Bhupendra Kumar Popli during investigation at Saharanpur railway station. RPF station in-charge Mohit Tyagi said that businessman Bhupendra Kumar Popli alias Krishna Kumar was boarding the Ambala-Delhi Inter City Express parked at platform number three. The businessman taken into custody is a resident of Nagar Kotwali area. Information about this case has been given to the Income Tax Department. During interrogation, Bhupendra Kumar Popli told the Railway Police that this money belongs to various businessmen. He buys mobiles and other electronic goods etc. from Delhi and gives it to shopkeepers. This amount belongs to those shopkeepers. Railway Police says that agents of a large number of businessmen from Saharanpur go to Delhi by trains daily and supply various consumer and cosmetic goods to shopkeepers. The matter is still under investigation. Whatever facts emerge, action will be taken on that basis.
