The case of FIR registered in the case of firing outside Sachkhand Shri Harvinder Sahib on Shiromani Akali Dal chief and former Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is undergoing religious punishment, is continuously gaining momentum and questions are being raised again and again by the Akali Dal Badal leadership against the attacker. While addressing a press conference in the office of Member of Parliament Biba Harsimrat Kaur Badal in Bathinda, Akali Dal leader Parambas Bunty Romana said that Chief Minister Bhagwat Singh Mann has started a cover-up campaign by registering a false FIR to hide the conspiracy of attack on Akali Dal chief Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal. He said that in the FIR, Babbar Khalsa International terrorist has been described as a member of the Sangat and to hide the whole incident, it has been called aerial firing. While quashing the FIR, he termed it as a cunning campaign aimed at covering up the role of the Punjab Police officer who was supporting the attacker. He said that it is now clear that the AAP government is a part of the conspiracy to eliminate the Sanjami leadership. He said that the Chief Minister has put in all his efforts to ensure that the truth of the deep conspiracy to eliminate Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal never comes out.
The statement made by senior leader Sardar Vikram Singh Majithia in the press conferences being held continuously while demanding an impartial inquiry under the supervision of the High Court into this attack has proved to be true. Sardar Majithia told how SP Harpal Singh Randhawa met and talked to the attacker and also discussed with him in the Sri Darbar Sahib premises on December 3. It was evident from the CCTV camera footage that the attacker, Narain Singh Chaura, carried out a thorough recce of the Sri Darbar Sahib premises for three days before attacking Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal with a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. He said that to term the attack as a surprise attack by a member of the Sangat was a mockery of justice.
How the Amritsar Police, including its Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, went all out after the attack to create the impression that the attack was staged to gain sympathy for Sardar Badal. He said that even though these claims were refuted and proved to be false, the AAP government was now calling a veteran criminal with a record of involvement in anti-national activities a member of the Sangat.
The Akali leader made it clear that this Kali Dal would not tolerate such lies at all and said that we would use every option at our disposal to expose this conspiracy.
