Manas Kumar Banerjee has been made the new principal of RG Kar Hospital. He was earlier the principal of Barasat Medical College Hospital. Earlier also he was transferred to the post of principal of RG Kar Medical College, but due to some allegations of former principal Sandeep Ghosh, he could not take the responsibility last time and due to some unknown reason, Sandeep Ghosh's transfer as the principal of RG Kar was withdrawn within two days.

Apart from this, Saptarshi Chatterjee has been made the new MSVP in RG Kar Hospital. Saptarshi was till now the MSVP of Bankura Sammilani Medical College.
