32000 beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana get acceptance letters
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to Jharkhand, Gujarat and Odisha from today. His tour started from Jharkhand on Sunday. The Prime Minister reached the state capital Ranchi early in the morning. However, due to bad weather, he could not go further from here and he participated virtually in all the programs. Actually, he was going to Tatanagar and Jamshedpur.
Prime Minister Modi distributed acceptance letters to 32,000 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and released the first installment of Rs 32 crore for the construction of houses. He also handed over the keys to 46,000 beneficiaries of PMAY-G across the country. The Center has approved 1,13,400 houses for the poor in Jharkhand under the PMAY-G scheme. Apart from this, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone of Madhupur bypass line in Deoghar district and Hazaribagh Town Coaching Depot in Hazaribagh district.
Earlier, he flagged off six Vande Bharat trains for Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal through digital medium. On this occasion, apart from Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Annapurna Devi and Sanjay Seth, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar was also present at Tatanagar station.
Gave a gift of Rs 660 crore
PM gave the gift of various railway projects worth more than Rs 660 crore to Jharkhand. He laid the foundation stone of many important projects and dedicated them to the nation. These include Kurkura-Kanaroan doubling project. It is a part of the Bandamunda-Ranchi single line section and also connects the Rourkela-Gomo route via Ranchi, Muri and Chandrapura stations.
Due to bad weather, he reached the public meeting by road. The Prime Minister is also going to address a huge rally of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jamshedpur. Due to bad weather, PM Modi reached Jamshedpur by road. PM Modi said that today I wanted to start all these projects by staying among you, but nature did not support me. Because of this, now I am doing all this work through online medium.
PM Modi's road show canceled
Meanwhile, PM Modi's road show in Jamshedpur has been canceled. This decision has been taken due to bad weather and heavy rain. Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi said in a post on micro-blogging site 'X', 'Due to continuous heavy rain in Jamshedpur, the Prime Minister's road show in the city has been canceled for the time being.'
Shivraj said - PM is concerned about the welfare of the people and the poor
During this, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always concerned about the welfare of the people and the poor. When Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister for the first time, the PM Awas Yojana was started. The poor should get permanent houses, no poor should live in a kutcha house, he started fulfilling this dream through PM Awas Yojana.
