A strange incident of murder has come to light in Bengaluru in which an ex-employee barged into the office and attacked the MD and CEO with a sword, killing both of them. Police said the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon when the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (Managing Director) of an IT company in Bengaluru were attacked with a sharp weapon and fled after barging into the office.

Former employee has been accused killer

Both the deceased have been identified as Venu Kumar, CEO of Aronics Media Pvt Ltd and Phanindra Subramaniam, MD of the company. Police have identified the suspect as Felix. A police officer familiar with the matter said that Felix had left the company some time ago and started his own company. The circumstances surrounding the separation of the accused from the company are not clear.

Felix got away with the murder

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of North East Bengaluru Lakshmi Prasad said that the accused Felix fled after committing the murder and efforts are being made to arrest him at the earliest. Police said the incident took place around 4 pm when the accused Felix barged into his former office at Pampa Extension in Amritahalli and attacked two top officials with a sword.

Phanindra and Kumar, who were seriously injured in the attack, died on the way to the hospital, police said. Amritahalli police reached the spot and called dog squad and forensic teams. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Manipal Hospital. Accused Felix is being searched.
