Bengaluru, Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara on Sunday said a Blue Corner Notice has been issued against Prajwal Revanna, accused of sexually assaulting several women, and Interpol's help has been sought to bring the NDA candidate from Hassan Lok Sabha seat back to India. is being taken.
A Blue Corner Notice is issued by an international police cooperation body to collect additional information from its member countries about the identity, location or movements of a person in relation to a crime.
The minister said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe the 'sex scandal' will decide on how to bring Prajwal back. Parameshwara told reporters here, 'Blue corner notice has already been issued. Interpol will inform all the countries and trace them.
Praising the work of the SIT formed to investigate the case, he said that the team is doing its work and has acted on the complaints as per the law. Apparently referring to HD Revanna, Prajwal's father, who has been detained in a kidnapping case, he said it has arrested the 'accused'.
Prajwal's father and JD(S) MLA HD Revanna, facing charges of molestation and kidnapping, was arrested by the SIT on Saturday. He has been arrested in a kidnapping case related to sexual abuse allegations against his son Prajwal. He was arrested soon after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by a court here.
