The Assumption of Office ceremony for the Bharat Vikas Parishad Kurukshetra branch for the year 2026-27, i.e. Vikram Samvat 2083, was held yesterday in the Naimisharanya Auditorium of Vidya Bharati Sanskriti Bhawan. First, the dignitaries present in the auditorium lit lamps. After singing Vande Mataram, Provincial President Kapil Gupta, Provincial General Secretary Atul Goyal, and Provincial Finance Secretary Neeraj Garg were welcomed with robes and coconuts. Vikas Ralhan and Jai Ralhan presented a captivating Bhajan Sandhya on this occasion. The new executive committee included Jaiprakash Pawar as President, Dr. Jawaharlal as Secretary, and Manoj Setia as Finance Secretary. Vinod Gupta, Rajkumar Walia, Ranbir Kumar Rampal, and Saurav Goyal were sworn in as new members by Provincial General Secretary Atul Goyal, Provincial President Kapil Gupta, and Provincial Finance Secretary Neeraj Garg. On this occasion, Dr. Vidya Vrat Chikkara was appointed branch patron. Praveen Ghai and Dinesh Singhal were also given responsibility for their respective departments. The newly elected executive committee of the Maitri Maitreyi branch, another branch in Kurukshetra district, was inducted into the executive committee. Dr. Mamta Sachdeva was appointed president, Dr. Neelam Danda was appointed secretary, and Dr. Saloni Pawan Dewan was appointed finance secretary. On behalf of the Kurukshetra branch, Branch Secretary Baljeet Chawla presented a detailed report of last year's annual activities. On behalf of the Maitreyi branch, Branch Secretary Dr. Neelam Danda and Finance Secretary Dr. Saloni Pawan Dewan presented the annual report. Last year's council presidents Vijayant Bindal and Dr. Mamta Sachdeva thanked all members for their contributions to the work done last year.
