Under MP Naveen Jindal's guidance, 85 out of 100 patients supported by 'Nikshay Mitras' have recovered and rejoined the social mainstream
Kurukshetra, The 'Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' (Prime Minister's TB-Free India Campaign) is being implemented nationwide to eradicate tuberculosis. As part of this initiative, 100 'Nikshay Mitras' (TB-support volunteers) were identified to adopt TB patients in the Kurukshetra and Kaithal districts. During their treatment, these patients were provided with nutritional support and guidance. As a result of this campaign, 85 out of the 100 patients receiving support across both districts have successfully completed their treatment. Having recovered from TB, these patients have returned to a healthy life and reintegrated into the mainstream of society.
Dharmveer Singh, the office in-charge for MP Naveen Jindal, stated that patients selected under this campaign were provided with nutritional supplies for six consecutive months. Additionally, they received regular counseling and guidance to maintain their morale and ensure they completed their treatment with full commitment.
He noted that MP Naveen Jindal has been actively supporting significant campaigns related to public interest and social welfare, aiming to extend assistance to as many needy people in the region as possible.
