New Delhi. Two-time Olympic medalist badminton player PV Sindhu will tie the knot on December 22 in Udaipur. Former world champion Sindhu, who ended a long title drought with a win at the Syed Modi International in Lucknow on Sunday (December 1), will marry Hyderabad-based Venkat Dutta Sai, who is the executive director of Posidex technologies.
Sindhu's father PV Ramana told PTI, "Both the families knew each other but everything was decided a month ago. Sindhu's schedule is going to be busy in January. So this is the right time. This is why both the families decided to hold the wedding ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held in Hyderabad on December 24. She will start her training soon as the next session is going to be very important. "
Let us tell you that the events related to the wedding will start from December 20. Sindhu is considered one of India's greatest players who has won five medals in the World Championships including gold in 2019. Apart from this, she has also won silver and bronze medals in the Olympic Games.
