A terrible accident has happened in Pali, Rajasthan. Here an unruly truck has crushed a group of Jain sadhus. This group had left for Jalore from Pali under the leadership of Jain monk Taporatna Suri Acharya Maharaj. After this incident, people of Jain community raised questions on the law and order situation of the state and called this incident a big conspiracy. Said that this is the second incident of attack on Jain sadhus in Rajasthan in the same week. Police have registered a case in this regard and arrested the truck owner. The police is investigating the matter.

According to the police, a video of this incident has also surfaced. It is clearly visible in the video that Jain monks and people of Jain community are present on the road. Meanwhile, an unruly truck entered the crowd from behind and moved ahead, crushing whoever came in front. It is fortunate that no one has died in this accident. However, many people including two women have been seriously injured in this incident. This incident took place on January 12 in Takhatgarh area of Pali district.

After CCTV footage of the incident surfaced, police have registered a case against the truck driver and truck owner. At the same time, people of Jain community have raised questions on the law and order situation of the state and demanded strict action against the truck driver and truck owner. Four people are reported to have been seriously injured in this incident. All the injured have been referred to Sumerpur and Ahmedabad. His condition is said to be very critical.

Kalpesh, Chairman of Jain Governance Raksha Samiti, said that such attacks are happening on Jain Sadhus every day. The surprising thing is that even after watching the video of the incident, the police have registered a case under general sections. He told that the people of the society met IG Raghavendra Suhas regarding this incident. He has given proper directions to the station in-charge. After this the police arrested the truck owner. On the other hand, police investigation revealed that after the incident the truck owner had hurriedly changed the driver.

Police have said that the reason for the incident was brake failure of the truck. He told that this is the second case of attack on Jain community in a month. Earlier, an attempt was made to ram a Bolero on Maharaj Taportan Suri in Ramsingh village of Bhinmal police station area. People of Jain community have accused Anup Mandal of being behind this incident. Said that he is a staunch opponent of Jain community and is after the lives of sadhus. It is said that Jain sadhus had given financial help to the revolutionaries during the fight against the British. Since then there is a fight going on between Anup Mandal and Jain sadhus.
