High speed car wreaks havoc in Jaipur
Drunk SUV drives, crushes 9, 3 dead
A high speed car crushed 2 people half a kilometer away from Nahargarh police station in Jaipur Parkota at around 9.30 pm on Monday night. 7 others were injured after being hit by the car in this distance. The car driver hit whatever came in front of him. The car also hit vehicles parked on the roadside and many two-wheelers. This created chaos in the market. Later the car driver left the vehicle and ran away. After the incident, hundreds of people gathered at the spot and got angry about the vehicle being driven at high speed in the streets. The police was bringing the car to the police station, when the crowd vandalized the car. Seeing the crowd getting violent, police force was called from nearby police stations.
DCP said the driver was drunk
DCP Rashi Dogra Doodi said that the car driver Usman Khan (55 years), a resident of Shastri Nagar, was arrested. The driver was drunk. People calmed down after the driver was caught. The accused driver Usman Khan is said to have an iron factory in Vishwakarma.
Sparks came out when the bike was dragged
According to eyewitnesses, the car driver first hit a scooter and a pedestrian at Nahargarh police station crossing. After this, he drove the car towards Santoshi Mata temple. There he hit a bike and a pedestrian. Then a little ahead he hit a person and ran away leaving the car.
Two people were crushed by the car, due to which blood was spread all over the road. People became angry after seeing the blood. A bike got stuck in front of the car in the accident. The driver drove the car away when the bike got stuck. This caused sparks to come out on the road and people got scared.
3 dead so far
So far 3 people have died in the Jaipur hit and run case. One death occurred in the morning. Earlier, a person died on the spot after being crushed by a car. A lot of effort was made to save the second person, but he died in the hospital after a while.
Policemen said, ran outside after hearing the blast
Policemen of Nahargarh police station said that they went outside after hearing the blast, by then the car driver had hit the scooter and hit a pedestrian. He drove the car at a high speed and hit whoever came in front of him.
On MI road too…
After hitting the car on MI road, it was reported that the driver drove the car towards Nahargarh police station via Kishanpole Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupad and Gangauri Bazaar. Police is verifying it.

Awadhesh Pareek (35 years), resident of Laldas Ka Bada near Nahargarh police station and Mamta Kanwar (50 years), resident of Shastri Nagar died. Mamta's brother Virendra Singh (45 years), Monesh (28 years) living behind Santoshi Mata Mandir, Deepika Soni (17 years), Mohammad Jalaluddin (44 years) resident of Sharda Colony in Manbagh, Vijay Narayan (65 years) resident of Govindraoji Ka Rasta, Zebunisha (50 years), Anshika (24 years) were injured. Among them, two including Virendra are in critical condition. Two children are also among the injured.

Eyewitness Ravi Singh said that he chased the car driver from near Nahargarh crossing. When I held the window of the car, the driver started dragging me too. Then he turned the steering of the car towards the wall. Due to this, the car stopped after hitting the wall. In a moment, the driver got out of the car and ran away.

On the other hand, on the information of the police, people reached SMS Hospital to search for their loved ones. Due to the crowd in the trauma center, the gates of the hospital were closed and people were stopped outside. Due to this many people kept wandering here and there to search for their relatives. The crowd in the hospital also became angry.
