Merta Road, The radium refractors installed to make the traffic safe on the State Highway being built from Merta City to Mundwa in Merta Road have now completely disappeared from the main road. Due to these radium reflectors coming out of the road, the sharp nails hammered on the road have now become a nuisance for the pedestrians. Due to these sharp nails protruding on the road, the tires of many drivers get punctured and many pedestrians also fall after stumbling. Local people told that the reflectors installed here have not been installed properly, due to which the pedestrians walking on this road have to suffer. Local people told that the road constructed by the contractor shows that completely substandard material has been used in the construction of this road due to which the radium reflectors installed on the road have broken and fallen off in a few days. Not only this, these reflectors have fallen off completely from Jaroda culvert to Merta Road where the road construction work has been completed. Local people have demanded that the reflectors that have fallen off the road should be put back and the nails that have fallen off should be removed from the road.
