Merta Road, the bike theft accused who escaped from Merta Road police custody two days ago, has revealed many secrets about bike theft incidents as soon as he was arrested again. On the information given by the accused and his two accomplices, the police have seized 30 stolen bikes from their respective hideouts. Accused Dilip has confessed to stealing around 80 bikes so far. The police have also arrested two of the accused's associate gang members. The police is still engaged in intensive interrogation of the three accused. Merta DSP Pintu Kumar said that we have arrested three gang members in the case of bike theft incidents. Police have arrested accused Dilip Beda (29), resident of Kathauti in Jayal police station area of ​​Nagaur district, Naushad Ali (25), resident of Khatu Badi in Khatu Badi police station area of ​​Nagaur district and Yunus Khan (19), resident of Sherani Abad village in Khunkhuna police station area of ​​Didwana-Kuchaman district on charges of bike theft. Police have recovered 30 stolen bikes on the information given by the three accused.

Accused Dilip had fled from the police station on September 4

Merta Road police station had arrested Dilip Beda on the evening of September 3 in a case of bike theft. The accused had escaped by breaking the window behind the toilet on the pretext of going to the toilet in the morning on September 4. However, 10 hours later, he was caught by the people of Merta Road town and handed over to the police. Now as soon as the accused was arrested again, the police interrogated him thoroughly and on the basis of investigation, arrested two more accomplices of Dilip and seized 30 stolen bikes on the information given by all of them. During police interrogation, Dilip has confessed to stealing 70 to 80 bikes so far.

Bike stolen from crowded places

The three accused told the police that they usually stole bikes from railway stations, bus stations, coaching centres, banks or crowded areas and markets because a large number of bikes were lying there. The accused would first do a recce of the person coming on the bike. They would also find out till where the owner goes after parking the bike and then in the absence of the bike owner, they would break the lock of the vehicle with a master key or other tools and steal the bike.
