Uttarakhand State Foundation Day: Silver Jubilee Celebrations to Be Held for 11 Days, President Murmu to Address Assembly Session

The celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of Uttarakhand's Statehood will showcase diverse cultural and artistic aspects. Meanwhile, President Draupadi Murmu will address the Uttarakhand Assembly for the first time during the special session of the Assembly.

Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman released the list of events for the 11 days. He stated that the Silver Jubilee celebrations will take place at various locations over the course of 11 days.

Where will the events take place?

November 1: Igas at the Chief Minister's residence in the evening, followed by a Comedy Fest at the Cultural Center, Garhi Cantt.

November 2: Ultra Marathon by the Tourism Department in Jolikong and Adi Kailash, followed by a Comedy Fest in the evening at the Cultural Center, Garhi Cantt.

November 3: President's address at the special session of the Assembly, and the Comedy Fest concludes in the evening at the Cultural Center, Garhi Cantt.

November 4: Second day of the special session of the Legislative Assembly, a conference of mayors and chairpersons of municipal bodies in Kashipur, and an evening program at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.

November 5: Overseas Uttarakhandi Conference at Doon University, the Sports Department's Hockey and Traditional Sports Championship in Haridwar, and an evening program at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.

November 6: Saint Conference in Haridwar, an employment fair at ITI Niranjanpur Doon, a youth festival at the Parade Ground, a Jan-Van Utsav in Ramnagar, Nainital, a veterans' conference in Haldwani, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.

November 7: Farmers' Conference in Pantnagar, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.

November 8: Conference and felicitation of state agitators at the Tehsil Headquarters and District Headquarters, a women's conference in Haldwani, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.

November 9: Rite parade at the Police Lines, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.

November 10: A conference of stakeholders related to winter tourism in Dehradun, with an evening event at the Cultural Centre in Garhi Cantt.

November 11: Silver Jubilee of State Foundation Day celebrations, main event at FRI, evening event at the Cultural Centre in Garhi Cantt.
