In Katihar, Bihar's Katihar district, a young man died due to his mistake. If he had been treated on time, he would have been alive today. Actually, Timpa Roy, a laborer by profession, was working on the banks of the river when a poisonous snake bit him. He got angry due to the snake bite and caught it alive and locked it in a box. Then he took the snake in a box and reached Azam Nagar Community Health Center where the doctors were also stunned to see the live snake.

A crowd of people gathered in the hospital to see the poisonous snake locked in the box. The doctor asked the young man why did he bring the snake to the hospital? Then the young man replied that if you asked which snake had bitten him, what would we answer? I thought that I don't recognize the snake, why don't I catch the snake and take it...after identifying the snake, the treatment will start quickly. The doctors and hospital staff were also surprised to hear his words. Then after giving first aid, the doctors referred him to Katihar Sadar Hospital, but instead of going to Sadar Hospital, the young man went to a Vaidya Hakim and Ojha Guni who extract snake venom.
Where he was exorcised with neem leaves for several hours, but his condition kept deteriorating. Seeing the young man's condition deteriorating, the family took him again to Azamnagar Health Center. But the doctor there said that the patient had already been referred to Katihar Sadar Hospital. But instead of going to Katihar Sadar Hospital, he went for exorcism. He died due to lack of timely treatment.
If the young man had gone to Sadar Hospital at the time when he was referred by the doctors of Azamnagar Health Center, then today his life could have been saved. The young man got punished for his mistake. He lost his life due to a mistake. This is a lesson for those who fall into the trap of exorcism. So never fall into the trap of such exorcists. Timpa Rai's death has caused an uproar among her family members and the incident is being discussed in the entire area.
