Motihari, on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labor, at 7:00 am, with the cooperation of the District Administration and Labor Resources Department, four vehicles were flagged off from the main gate of the Collectorate for propaganda against child labor. These propaganda vehicles will make people aware about the prevention of child labor in all the blocks of East Champaran district. On this occasion, the District Magistrate said that child labor is a curse and it is an obstacle in the progress of the nation. Children are the future of the nation. Child labor hinders the physical and mental development of children. Today we should take a pledge that we will raise our voice against child labor and try to provide proper education and safe environment to children. Strict laws have been made by the government to stop child labor. Raids are being conducted by the raid teams of the Labor Resources Department, people are also being caught.
