Katni, Local women of Bangla Line Basti Baba Narayan Shah Ward No. 39 under Madhav Nagar police station of Katni reached SP office in large numbers where they told Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Dehriya in their complaint that 4 to 5 illegal liquor shops are being run in their area due to which the lives of the residents here have become difficult. The limit was crossed when 3 to 4 miscreants of the area beat up a 70-year-old old man Jaswant Sarwari living here, in which the old man has suffered serious injuries.

Women living here told that people with criminal tendencies enter their houses and threaten them. They ask for money from their children while going to school. There are fights and riots at night. Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Dehriya immediately called Madhav Nagar police station in-charge on the complaint of the local people and directed to take action in this regard. He has been asked to arrest the criminals.
