Woman injured in trolley collision dies during treatment
Increasing encroachment at bus stand is being considered responsible for the incidents

A 24 year old married woman was injured after being hit by a dumper at the main crossing of Merta Road. She was treated and sent to Ajmer. Where she died during treatment late in the evening. Her five year old son has sustained injuries. Police reached the spot and seized the dumper. Afsana (24), resident of Merta Road, had left her house on Monday morning at around 10:30 am to go to her parental home Bhakri with her five year old son Armaan and reached the bus stand when a dumper driver hit her hard, due to which Afsana was seriously injured. After primary treatment at Merta Road, she was referred to Ajmer. Where she died late in the evening and her son Armaan was discharged after primary treatment as he was injured. A huge crowd gathered at the spot. The report of the incident has been filed by Mohammad Akhlaq, resident of Merta Road. The police have registered a case and seized the dumper. It should be noted that due to encroachment at Merta Road Bus Stand, the road is narrow. Due to which accidents occur every day. The state highway leading from Merta Road Bus Stand has been encroached upon by encroachers on both sides, due to which the state highway is very narrow, due to which accidents occur every day. At the same time, the absence of a circle at the main bus stand intersection is also the reason for the continuous accidents. The villagers have demanded a intersection, so that accidents can be curbed.
