Patna, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav answered the question asked about the alliance with Nitish Kumar again in the Bihar elections. In Patna, he was questioned about the possibilities of alliance with Nitish Kumar, on which he got angry. Tejashwi Yadav clearly said, "Why will we join hands? Why are you trying to divert attention from the current issue?" Let us tell you that Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with RJD and joined the BJP-led NDA last year.

Tejashwi Yadav spoke on alliance

Actually, former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was talking to reporters after the protest organized by RJD against the alleged "theft of reservation and digesting it by NDA". During this, he was asked whether there is a possibility of him joining hands with the JD (U) chief before the assembly elections? On this, Tejashwi Yadav said, "Why will we join hands? Why are you trying to divert attention from the issue at hand?'' He was told that there is speculation in a section of the media that Nitish Kumar, who recently turned 74, is worried that the BJP may press for a leadership change after the elections and the RJD is ready to take advantage of this situation and "offer" an alliance to it. To this, Tejashwi Yadav replied sternly, "There is no proposal from anyone. In my party, only RJD president Lalu ji and I are authorized to take any decision on the alliance. Please do not talk nonsense.''

Targeted Nitish Kumar
Tejashwi Yadav also stressed that Nitish Kumar has now lost his conscience, which is evident from the level of language used by him in public. Citing some instances of Nitish Kumar trying to touch PM Modi's feet in public, Tejashwi Yadav said, "Does this befit a chief minister of a state?" Tejashwi Yadav claimed, "The day is not far when Kumar will fall at the feet of his two current deputy chief ministers Vijay Kumar Sinha and Samrat Choudhary." He accused the BJP of "working on its anti-reservation agenda in Bihar". The RJD leader alleged, "This is the reason why the state government's lawyers are not arguing properly in the Supreme Court when the petition related to reservation is being heard." It is noteworthy that the state government has approached the Supreme Court challenging the Patna High Court order, which struck down the laws increasing the reservation for disadvantaged castes from 50 per cent to 65 per cent.
