The EOU is investigating the case related to horse-trading of MLAs during the trust vote of the NDA government in Bihar. This case has also been sent to ED (Enforcement Directorate), so that all the provisions related to the money laundering law can be investigated in it. However, ED has not yet registered it with itself nor started any investigation. In the coming time, after studying the case, ED can register it. The case of horse-trading of MLAs was registered in Patna's Kotwali police station in February.

However, an FIR was registered on the written complaint of JDU MLA Sudhanshu Shekhar from the Assembly. A few months ago, the EOU (Economic Offenses Unit) took over this case and started further investigation.

In the investigation so far, EOU has found that apart from Bihar, money was arranged to buy the ruling MLAs through some people sitting in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Nepal. It was revealed that money was exchanged at many levels. Some MLAs were also given money as advance, evidence of which has also been found by EOU. At present, investigation of all the aspects related to this is going on. The whole situation will become clear only after the investigation is completed.
