'Went to Kashmir 3 times via Nepal to circulate fake notes'

East Champaran, East Champaran Police has achieved a major success. Police arrested three smugglers including the kingpin of fake notes with fake notes worth about two lakh rupees. The smugglers were arrested from Banjaria police station area during vehicle checking. Apart from many central agencies, the local police has also interrogated the arrested smuggler. It has come to light that the arrested smuggler Mohd. Najre Shamshad has links with Pakistan. Fake notes worth one lakh 95 thousand, a stolen bike and a backpack have been recovered from him in Kashmir. The recovered fake notes are of the value of Rs 500. Mohd. Najre Shamshad was on the radar of the police and other central agencies for the last several years. Traps were laid several times to arrest Shamshad. But, he used to dodge them every time or change his plan. But this time he was caught by the police. Mohd. Najre Shamshad was handled by a handler from Kashmir. Sources say that the handler has been arrested in Kashmir itself. SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that information was received about three people coming with a consignment of fake notes on a red coloured motorcycle without number plate. Based on the information received, a team of police and information unit of Banjaria police station was formed under the leadership of ASP Shikhar Chaudhary. The police team started intensive investigation by setting up a blockade near Shankar Dhaba. During this time, three people were seen coming on a bike. On seeing the police team, they turned the vehicle and started running. They were chased and arrested near Kharwa bridge.
