Councilor Jaishankar Urmaliya has alleged that this attack was carried out by the supporters of local MLA Sanjay Pathak. He says that when he reached Vijayraghavgarh police station to register an FIR, even there the police refused to register the report. Councilor Urmaliya has complained about this matter to the Katni SP and has pleaded for justice. He said that he has been continuously raising issues related to the development of the ward in the Nagar Parishad, due to which the people of the ruling party are angry with him. This is the reason why he has been facing disputes and threats every day. He alleged that the police station in-charge did not register the report under pressure from the MLA, due to which he is now forced to complain at the district level. Congress councilor Jaishankar Urmaliya said that he is being threatened repeatedly. He talks about the development of the ward, that is why I was beaten up and no report was even written. On the contrary, a report has been filed against him in Vijayraghavgarh police station. In this case, Additional SP Santosh Deharia of Katni said that the complaint has been received, the matter is being investigated. Appropriate action will be taken against the culprits.
