With the aim of disturbing communal harmony in Deoband city, a youth made indecent comments on a particular community and Saharanpur MP Imran Masood regarding the Waqf Amendment Act. The video of which went viral on social media. Due to which angry people surrounded the police station twice demanding the arrest of the accused. After which the police registered a case against the named accused and later arrested the accused from Uttarakhand. In the video, a youth Abhay Tandon alias Tanu Tandon, resident of Mohalla Kayasthwada Shiv Chowk, was making indecent comments on a particular religion and Congress's Saharanpur MP Imran Masood regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill. After the video went viral, anger grew among the people and people gathered and reached the police station and started creating a ruckus demanding the arrest of the accused. The police barely pacified them. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections on the complaint of Chaudhary Kaleem of the city. The police have arrested the accused Abhay Tandon alias Tanu from Bhagwanpur in Uttarakhand.
