Verdict in famous Air Force officer murder case
All three accused convicted, murder took place on 7 January 2022, hearing on sentencing points to be held on 11 July

The court has convicted all the three named accused in the murder of Air Force officer Kamlesh Tiwari in Motihari, East Champaran on 7 January 2022. In this case, 22nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Rashmi Verma has convicted all the three accused and sent them to Motihari Central Jail. The court will now hear on July 11 on the sentencing points of the three accused convicted. In this case, Chandeshwar Tiwari, father of deceased Air Force officer Alok Tiwari, had registered Sangrampur police station case number 5/2022 and named Chandeshwar Mukhiya, Munna Mukhiya and Shambhu Mukhiya of Koirgaon. The incident took place in Tiwari Tola of Sangrampur police station area of the district. According to the FIR lodged, Chandeshwar Tiwari's son Alok Tiwari was a warrant officer in the Air Force and had come home on leave. Meanwhile, on 7 January 2022, Chandeshwar Mukhiya, Munna Mukhiya and Shambhu Mukhiya were uprooting the weeds planted in his field. When Alok Tiwari refused to uproot the weeds, the three men caught him and brutally murdered him by hitting a spear in his chest.
