Vehicle of villagers going for Ganga bath after playing Holi in village Rani Majra of Pathri police station area of ​​Haridwar overturned, due to which an 11 year old boy died tragically. Five other people were injured. The condition of two of them remains critical, who have been referred to higher center.

On Friday, after playing Holi all day in Rani Majra village of Pathri area, Meghraj left with his family in a Max vehicle for Ganga bath. On the way, the vehicle lost balance and overturned, due to which there was chaos there.

On receiving the information, Ferupur outpost in-charge Sudhanshu Kaushik reached the spot with his team and took all the injured to the hospital. Sachin Kumar's 11 year old son Dev died in the accident. At the same time, Sachin's wife Vandana, Ramniwas's wife Pooja, Meghraj's wife Bhumesh, Ravindra's 13 year old son Adi and Sonu alias Ashish were injured. Doctors have referred seriously injured Bhumesh and Adi to a higher centre for better treatment.

After this accident, there is an atmosphere of mourning in Ranimajra village. There is a long queue of people expressing condolences at the house of the deceased Dev. The villagers have demanded financial assistance from the administration to the victim's family and all possible help in the treatment of the injured. Pathri police station in-charge Ravindra Kumar said that the villagers had gone to take a bath in the Ganga to remove the color after playing Holi, when this accident happened due to the vehicle overturning on the way. Police is investigating the matter.
