Saharanpur, Micro and Small Facilitation Council Saharanpur has been awarded the MSME Banking and MSEFC Excellence Award-2023 by the Chamber of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi for its excellent work in resolving pending payment related disputes of small enterprises. Joint Commissioner Industries and Member-Secretary Anju Rani said that an amount of about Rs 2.00 crore has been given to 41 units through arbitration by the Facilitation Council Saharanpur and awards worth about Rs 7.00 crore to 92 units have been decided through arbitration. Under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act-2006, the Divisional Micro and Small Enterprises Facilitation Council constituted by the State Government to settle the disputes related to pending payments of Micro and Small Enterprises, has been constituted under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod, Saharanpur. In which Joint Commissioner Industries, District Leading Bank Manager, Anupam Gupta representative - Laghu Udyog Bharti and Pramod Miglani representative IIA are members.
