Saharanpur, Amidst the resentment towards BJP among Rajputs, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is arriving for the third time in 10 days on April 12 to address an election rally in Badgaon, a Rajput dominated area of Saharanpur district. Let us tell you that Rajput community is angry with BJP due to neglect of their community in ticket distribution and many other reasons. Due to which, on the demand of BJP strategists in Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach the Rajput dominated area of Saharanpur district, Badgaon, for the third time in the last fortnight on April 12 to address an election rally. If the resentment of Rajputs is not resolved in time, then BJP may have to face problems on at least five out of eight seats in the first phase on April 19. Saharanpur division itself has three Lok Sabha seats, Saharanpur, Kairana and Muzaffarnagar. BJP managers say that the impact of Rajputs' displeasure is more visible on Kairana and Muzaffarnagar seats and less on Saharanpur seat.
Raghav Lakhanpal Sharma is BJP's third time candidate from Saharanpur seat, although he lost the last election to BSP-SP alliance candidate Fazalur Rehman Qureshi. This time his main contest is against Imran Masood, the strong leader of SP-Congress alliance. Rajputs have supported SP-Congress candidate Iqra Hasan in Kairana Lok Sabha seat. On this seat, BSP has nominated Shripal Rana, a powerful Rajput leader of Nanauta region, as its candidate. BJP candidate Pradeep Chaudhary had won the last election by defeating Iqra Hasan's mother Tabassum Hasan. Pradeep Chaudhary belongs to the Gurjar community and has a spotless image in the area but the resentment of the Rajputs is increasing his problems. This is the third consecutive election of BJP's Sanjeev Balyan from Muzaffarnagar seat. In the last election, he had defeated Chaudhary Ajit Singh in a tough fight by a margin of about six thousand votes. Sanjeev Balyan was elected MP from BJP for the first time in 2014. He is a minister in the central government and a strong leader of Jats. Seeing the resentment of Rajputs, yesterday Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a meeting in Sardhana, the area of angry BJP and Rajput leader Sangeet Som. He had made Sanjeev Baliyan sit on one side of him and Sangeet Som on the other side and advised both of them to live together. Sardhana SP MLA Atul Pradhan is angry at being cut from his ticket from Meerut after it was announced. Atul Pradhan is a Gurjar leader. He had defeated Sangeet Som in the last election. According to critics, due to the displeasure of Rajputs with BJP, the Gurjar community seems to be coming closer to the BJP. The displeasure of Dr. Dharam Singh Saini, former minister of Saharanpur and four MLAs in Saharanpur division, also remains a problem for the BJP. BJP leaders are also making efforts to remove the displeasure of the soldiers in both Saharanpur and Kairana seats. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is respected and accepted by all sections of the society. Yogi Adityanath has organized an enlightened class conference in Saharanpur. For the second time he had come to Saharanpur with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and now for the third time Yogi Adityanath is reaching Bargaon in Saharanpur on April 12 at around 1.30 pm.
