Deoband (Saharanpur). The Electricity Corporation will now specially check those houses whose houses are big, but their meters are constantly showing low readings.

Under the revenue recovery campaign, premises of 528 consumers were checked. Out of which connections of 60 people were cut. In this, many consumers were also found whose meters are showing low readings despite having big houses. Subdivision Officer Anil Kumar Chaurasia said that checking campaign was conducted in Mohalla Pathanpura, Dagra, Nai Abadi, Beriyan and Bhayla Phatak.

Where 71 consumers deposited money on the spot to avoid the action of disconnection of connection. He said that revenue of Rs 13 lakh was recovered during the campaign. The Subdivision Officer has appealed to the consumers to deposit the dues as soon as possible to avoid the action of disconnection of connection. Because checking and recovery campaign will continue continuously to stop electricity theft. During the campaign, Executive Engineer Virendra Kumar Singh, JE Ramkumar, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Mohd. Zeeshan, Sanjay Kumar, Govind etc. were present.
