UGC-NET exam cancelled, major action on complaints of irregularities
Investigation handed over to CBI, exam will be held again

The matter of rigging in NEET had not yet calmed down when another big case came to the fore. After the complaint of irregularities in the UGC-NET exam, the central government has taken major action. The UGC-NET written examination held on 18 June 2024 has been canceled. Also, the investigation of the matter has been handed over to the CBI. Let us tell you that like NEET, the UGC-NET exam is also conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA conducted the UGC-NET examination in various cities of the country on 18 June 2024. This exam was conducted in two shifts. However, as soon as the examination was completed, allegations of irregularities and rigging started coming up. Learning from the controversy over NEET, the government immediately decided to cancel it. Also, the investigation of the case was handed over to CBI.
