Saharanpur, two youths who went to take bath in a big canal on Chilkana Road in Saharanpur Dehat Kotwali area died due to drowning. Police took out the bodies after hours with the help of divers. Both the youths were searched continuously for four hours in the canal. According to the information received, Shamsher son Waheed (19) and Shakib son Fayyaz (21) resident of Habibgarh had gone to take bath in the big canal located on Chilkana Road with their friends. While bathing, both the youths drowned after going deep. Seeing them, other youths raised an alarm. Hearing the sound, a crowd of people working and passing by gathered nearby. After this, information about the drowning of the youths was given to the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Divers were called. Police started searching for both with the help of divers. After a lot of effort, the body of Shamsher was taken out first. Shakib was also taken out after some time. Both had died due to water filling in their mouths. Both worked at a wood shop. As soon as the incident was known, the family members of Shamsher and Shakib also reached the spot. They did not know that Shamsher and Shakib would not return after bathing. The family members of both youths are in bad shape due to weeping. SP City Abhimanyu Manglik says that information was received about the youths drowning in the big canal located on Chilkana Road. One youth has been taken out, who died, while the search for the other is going on continuously. Police is on the spot.
