Two revenue officials fined ₹5,250 for violating deadlines under the Public Service Guarantee Act
Action taken after 21 cases found to be beyond the deadline
Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh: Additional Collector Mr. Brijendra Kumar Rawat has imposed a fine of ₹5,250 on two revenue officials for failing to provide services within the stipulated timeframe under the Public Service Guarantee Act, 2010.
A total of 21 cases from the Court of Naib Tehsildar Alot and the Court of Naib Tehsildar Tappa Kalukheda were found to be beyond the stipulated timeframe under the Public Service Guarantee Act. Due to the failure to process applications within the stipulated timeframe, applicants were unable to receive services on time, which is a violation of the Act.
Under Section 7(1)(a) of the Act, Naib Tehsildar Alot Rajesh Patidar has been fined Rs 4,500 for 18 pending cases and Naib Tehsildar Tappa Kalukheda Smt Shraddha Dwivedi has been fined Rs 750 for 3 pending cases.
