Saharanpur, In the case of smack smuggling in 2019, the court has sentenced two accused Salim and Arshad to four years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 30,000 each. Let us tell you that in the year 2019, the accused Aslam son of Zinda Hassan, resident of village Tatahedi police station Gangoh and Arshad son of Asgar Mohalla Gujran town and police station Gangoh were arrested by Senior Sub Inspector Devendra Singh of Police Station Mandi with 50-50 grams of illegal smack. On 19-2-2019, a case was registered against both the accused Aslam and Arshad in Police Station Mandi under Section 8/21 NDPS Act and both the smugglers were arrested and sent to jail. In this case which continued for almost 5 years, the Honorable Court Additional District and Sessions Judge Room No. 11 has sentenced accused Aslam and Arshad to 4-4 years of rigorous imprisonment and has also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 each on both of them.
