Two-day Balidan Mela organized in Gwalior
Bhoomi Pujan program for Veerangna Balidan Mela was completed in the presence of saints

Gwalior, a two-day Balidan Mela is being organized from today at the Lakshmibai Samadhi Sthal on the 166th anniversary of the sacrifice of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, the first warrior of the freedom struggle in Gwalior. On this occasion, the founder and president of the fair, Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya, said that Balidan Mela has been organized at the Veerangna Rani Lakshmibai Samadhi Sthal in Gwalior for the last 25 years, in this sequence, Bhoomi Pujan has been done at the Samadhi Sthal on Sunday for the Balidan Mela. On Monday, on the first day of Balidan Mela, Shaheed Jyoti Yatra will come to Gwalior from the fort of Jhansi.
Shaheed Jyoti Yatra will be taken from Phoolbagh Chauraha to Veerangna Samadhi Sthal in the form of a Shobha Yatra on foot. On this occasion, the exhibition 'Jara Yaad Karo Qurbani' will also be inaugurated. After this, on the second and last day of Balidan Mela, on 18th June (Tuesday), an All India Kavi Sammelan and a grand drama based on Rani Laxmibai will be organised.
