Janjgir, on 09.03.2024, Janjgir police received information that 02 persons were coming towards Janjgir illegally carrying intoxicant ganja in a sack from a Mosa. On the information, raid was conducted and two people in a motorcycle were found at the spot of the incident. Persons were found coming who were caught and when interrogated, they revealed their names as Aman Rajput, resident of Sitaram Colony, Janjgir and Vinod Suryavanshi, resident of Jagmahant police station, Navagarh, from whom 06 kg 500 grams of intoxicating substance Ganja was found inside a white sack. After finding evidence of criminal case against the accused, it was duly dropped and sent on judicial remand on 10.03.2024.
In the above proceedings, Inspector Praveen Kumar Dwivedi, Janjgir police station in-charge and Cyber Cell in-charge Deputy Inspector Paras Patel, Assistant Sub Inspector Ram Prasad Baghel, Principal Rajkumar Chandra Vivek Singh Thakur, Girish Kashyap, Rohit Gahra Arjun Yadav had commendable contribution.
