Amidst the ongoing investigation into the Ram Mandir donation misappropriation case, two office-bearers of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust have resigned. They include General Secretary Champat Rai and Trust member Anil Mishra.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing counter-attack against the opposition regarding allegations concerning the Ram Mandir donations. He stated that the government had made it clear from day one that the truth would be fully revealed—"separating milk from water." Action was initiated immediately upon receipt of the SIT's preliminary report. He urged the opposition not to trifle with the faith of Ram devotees and asked anyone possessing evidence to present it before the SIT. He advised them to learn to uphold the dignity (*maryada*) of Lord Shri Ram. The government will not spare any guilty party, but hurting public sentiments by making allegations without facts is inappropriate.

Alleged Theft of Donations a "Grave Sin"
Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal raised questions regarding the Uttar Pradesh government and the investigation process concerning the Ram Mandir donation issue, following his visit to Ayodhya to offer prayers to Ram Lalla.

He termed the alleged theft of donations a "grave sin" and claimed that attempts were being made to shield powerful individuals while taking action only against low-level employees. Speaking to reporters after visiting the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, Kejriwal said he had prayed to Lord Shri Ram to inflict the severest possible punishment upon those who committed such a grave sin.
